Tackling today's issues of unemployment and freedom of speech, 8th grade students discuss with other students at St. Ann their diverse points of view. The catalyst for this creative and critical thinking are two art exhibits at the Housatonic Museum of Art in Bridgeport. Recent Works from Cuba is a temporary exhibit. WPA (Work Projects Administration) paintings done in the 1940s are part of the Museum's permanent collection of 5000 works of art. The student docent program and the video were directed by Janet Luongo. Special guest presenter, Ben Ortiz, expert on Latin American art, helped train the students.
