  • How do you carry yarn up the side in a crochet pattern?

  • @haleighheroine Hi there. Similar to knitting, you'll work across and then back in one color, then switch to the second color, twisting the two strands of yarn together and then work across and back in the second color. You'll always want to change colors on the same side, so that the yarn can be twisted together. For more videos, try typing "change color in crochet" into the search box here on YouTube for lots of helpful videos. Hope that helps!

  • nice work. great video.

having a problem with one pattern i know the yarn is no longer available but this is the pattern no BK4K-0612011 family beanies. i think there is a mistake on the pattern. also this other pattern 90674B, some friends that i know would like a video on this one. thank you

  • Hmmm not sure if this helps. Wish this wasn't continental because it hurts my brain lol. Plus it's not a good idea to have a lesson when you're using really fancy material like this. Oh well.

  • ok but what does it look like?? what if the 2 pieces of yarn are drastically different colors and you don't want the one color to be with the other color?

  • good idea! saves from sewing the ends in.

  • 1 solo punto? very bad

  • The needles in the video are exactly like the first pair I bought. I didn't keep the package it came in and couldn't remember who made them.

    Unexpected helpfulness!

  • thank you for demonstrating that. before seeing this, i would "twist" the yarn too many times, and it always ended up looking wrong. now, i know what to do...
