~Original Despedida~

Hey everyone :]

Finally Ive been inspired and this is my first original piano composition. I didnt follow any specific rules and I dont know if its any good but I will tell you what I am trying to express with this piece and how I found my inspiration.

First of all a little translation for you: Despedida means farewell in Spanish. A little while ago I spent a week with my sister in Spain and was surrounded by very close friends having to say good bye, maybe forever. Good Byes are something many people dread and connect with strong emotions. Saying good bye to a loved one because he or she is suddenly needed to fight in a war or saying good bye to someone who has died due to illness, an accident or old age, saying good bye to your child because it is finally moving out or to your best friend because he or she is moving into another countryall these good byes bring along sadness, confusion and fear: fear of how things will change.
But sadness isnt the only thing we gain through good byes. Friendships you have made, memories, hope, close momentsnone of that can be taken away from you ever again. Crying and laughing, sadness and happiness are close together in the process of saying good bye. There is no way around the heart ache but that is a part of life and can help you appreciate what you have and had.

Ein wundervoll komponiertes Lied! Ruft bei mir ab der stelle 0:22 ein wenig von "venetian Boat op.30 n.6 Mendelssohn" in Erinnerung. Ich meg den ungezwungenen Stil, komponiere selber auch immer frei heraus, ohne spezielle regeln einzuhalten, da ich leider keine Noten lesen oder schreiben kann. Dein Song ist sehr komplex und schön...weiter so!!!
