  • Thanks for sharing. Noam Chomsky is a true American hero

  • Err thats because the zionists made a deal with the british to settle in and rule land where people were already living in, rather than making a deal with those indigenous people. Thats enough to make anybody mad.

And FYI the land captured in the "victories of wars" is in direct violation of UN resolution 242. The land captured during war has to be returned. Something that israel refuses to do.

  • everyone should listen to this man.sid

  • Denying it doesn't change the fact.

  • When 242 came out Israel sat down with Jordan and Egypt but Syria condemned it. Israel was not going to give land back for peace if there was not going to be any peace.

  • Chomsky truely believes that Israel's acceptance of the international concensus (withdrawing to the 1967 line and compromising about the return of the refugees) will bring the end of the conflict with the Palestinians. That's very nice! Others, not less informed than him, believe that this will precisely be the beginning of a larger conflict with the Palestinians and other neighboring countries, including of course Iran, and for whom peace has to be a "process", rather than a quick fix.

  • Thats because they're not using their own civilians as martyrs.

  • reference?

  • Chomsky is addressing why some Palestinian militants want to fight Israel, not why the militiants are using their own civilians as martyrs.
