Appaloosa is a American Western film adapted from the novel of the same name by Robert B. Parker. It was directed and co-written by Ed Harris who also stars as the lawman Virgil Cole. Viggo Mortensen plays his deputy Everett Hitch.

In this scene, Harris and Mortensen are newly hired lawmen who defend the lawless town of Appaloosa.

  • It was a great movie, a move rare in today's westerns, with character development and no gratuituous sex, just ACTING and good thinking for the watcher. VERY good movie.

  • yes viggo has worked with Diane Lane on A Walk On The Moon, Check it out, it is a great movie, they had good chemestry...I know my Viggo movies..just saying.

  • @lovesviggo54 Um Viggo has never worked with Diane lane.......maybe your mixing her up with Maria Bello ( a history of violence) or Naomi Watts ( eastern promises).

  • I only watch movies with the Great Viggo! I love his acting and especially when he works with Diane Lane.
