Askerov got luck to be awarded that extra rpound. But good n him, he took some pretty meaty kicks beforehand
-
@Blahb27 We'll one thing that can't be denied about Askerov....God damn he is tough and can take a beating....I think 99.99 percent of people would have went down to those kicks...Askerov really epitomizes the statement "take your beating like a man" lol
Can't wait for his fight vs Chahid...To durable aggressive brawlers just bombing on each other for the entire fight...and I think it is 5rounds to....I got Askerov by decision...or maybe they will both ko each other lol.
-
@Blahb27 Yeah the knockdown was luck but I feel bad for Askerov lol...His first 2 fights in k1 were against southpaw tall counter fighters...Thats a hard task for a brawler..They should have gave him someone who would have brawled with him like Chahid or Kraus.

@NinjaWarriorDude Why? Dida sucks and Hinata despite the fact that he cheats is pretty damn good....I saw the fight live...It wasn't even close....Hinata had 2 knockdowns on Dida( one each in the first and second round) and he dominated...Dida got owned badly

@Blahb27 LUck? no such thing in k-1 final 8 nothing but skill. Dzhabar show cased unbelievable endurance defending or taking without signaling hurt everything hinata threw at him! Unlike Muay thai rules in k-1 they dont reward points to kicks landed in the guard but i do agree that the extra round was unnecessary.

@Cesco86T what do you mean he took something? Its having a big heart and a thick chin all the top japanese k-1 fighters have em!
-
Kicks against the arms under k-1 rules in japan dont award any points unfortenatily for Hinata. It counts as a block and thats the reason it went to an extra round.
-
@Cesco86T look at sato.. for some reasons japs can take alot of punches to the face :D
-
it's obviusly that hinata had took something, he was beat up a lot of time in is face and don't show any problem. is this strange?
-
Its weird that the extra round happens so often. I think the judging in this sport is not quite right.
Really, was there any real need for the extra round? I'm not much into scoring, but it looked like Hinata had already won.
