Nearly all flypasts over london, pass over southwold.

Only joking, Southwold is a lovely place and I come up here every year for the Britten Festival and for a bit of Fishing and general peace & quiet.

Went to Southwold last Saturday and had a brilliant day. That fly past was amazing!

No, it's as bad as ever. I went down there a couple of weeks ago, went on the pier and had my 99 taken at knife point by an old lady of 83. She said she'd been coming to Southwold every year since 1953 and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Great footage. Did you know the planes were going to be coming over, it took us by surprise? Just love Southwold we have a plaque on the pier so we come over regularly and enjoy a stroll and some fun. Thanks again for responding. Cheers, Lesley

There was a note in Lowestoft Journal that said they would be over Southwold around dinner time, so I drove over to Southwold ( from Lowestoft) , and then wandered about for a bit before the planes arrived ...( hence the waves and Adnams footage )
I have read a lot of the plaques on the pier ... have you watched the other Southwold Films on my YouTube Channel ??? .... they may bring back a few happy memories ....
