@RZMaslic From an measured Canadian standpoint, Obama has been neutered by partisan politics. While he may be one hell of an orator, there is not much he can do to counteract half of the nation despising him. On the other hand, those chances where he could have made a stand, shown some real strength and leadership, and effectuated some of the change he ran on, he failed on a scale from moderately to catastrophically.

@DoesThisOffendYou From a more informed Canadian standpoint, Obama is like upgrading from Windows 95 to Windows 98. Obama isn't much better then Bush as he continued many Bush era policies.
@mollesjohn: He didn't deserve the prize, but then again the guy who won it before him didnt really deserve it either. It's mostly political.

Poor Obama. Had two years working with a Democratic Senate & Congress and still couldn't get anything done. Somehow, despite being in Iraq, still in Afghanistan, and Guantanamo still being open, and no tax law in place for taxing "the rich", cap and trade, and running up a one trillion dollar deficit, some how out of all that it's still Republicans falt.

In hindsight, you can see how completely on the mark Rush Limbaugh was over Obama's not deserving the award.
