American Exxxtasy Descrambler (1985)

North American C-Band satellite dish users in the 1980s will undoubtedly remember the notorious adult channel "American Exxxtasy". As backyard dishes became more common, so did the scrambling of satellite-delivered channels. In this ad, American Exxxtasy introduces their own proprietary system known simply as the "American Exxxtasy Descrambler". They would eventually switch to the Videocipher II encryption around 1987.

Forgive the poor video quality - it was ripped from a (well-used) 20+ year old VHS tape.

@VikutaaChyaaruzu Though, showing NWH wouldn't have caused them to be shut down, as that happened about 5 years later in 1990. They wouldn't have known in 1985 that the film would considered illegal later (revelations of her age happened in 1986.) From what I've read, it all started with kids in Georgia (I think) taping films off of AMEXXX and selling them at school.
