@tombell12 Back then, software was written to conserve space so more programs could fit in less space... but programmers stopped caring when the amount of memory we could fit into a computer became seemingly unlimited.

do you have "pctools" ? or norton commander? I remember I tried Barbarian game on 286, as soon as the game starts barbarian die because too fast.

Look at the connector where it plugs in. Usually there's a pin blocked off on the computer end of it. Just pop the pin out of the monitor connector. It'll still work fine.

tombell12, my first PC was one very similar to this, but mine had a 40Meg Seagate. You'd be amazed how many programs that could hold in 1989... Windows 3.0, Turbo Pascal, DOS 3.3, Kingdom of Kroz, Commander Keen, Telix, Robocop for DOS, Lotus 123, WordPerfect.... those were the good old days :)
