I hope all work out for you touch. I will say my was fun whie it lasted. After a year the charging port was loose making it hard to charge and some apps were hanging up and it started to power cycle or freeze. I did not get the screen colors. At this time I have changed to a Driod X and I will say I love it had not had time to do a review on it but it does what I need it too. The touch was a great phone but with the newer VZW plans have to have a smartphone. Good luck hope it works out well.

I jus ran across ur video prt 3 for the ev touch, I have this phone my 3rd one actually. I lk this phone but my screen lks to change colors, has tht happend to u? And u do need a data plan for this phone i double checked before i bought it, it's a good phone. And as for the charger i bought a regular wall charger cause mine wld cut off w/the usb charger. I lk ur videos on the phone.

@evilme669 Thanks for the info. I did speak to VZW and they had told me I did not need a data but that also had to do with being grandfathered in. With that said though I would not have full use of the data unless I change to a new plan. I could use airtime and text but internet etc would be per use. But for me I have the old premium plan so it does not pay to change at the moment as my data use is unlimited. Glad you like it and agin thanks for the feedback.

@evilme669 Update as of 9/14/10 My phone resets back to factory settings. If I have my own pictures for the external and internal screen it will go back to the factory picture. The other issue is that at time the touch screen will not display when it goes dim and I have to either open it and then it will come back or have to turn it off and back on. Other than that it is still working. I am thinking Droid for my next phone though.

i have a question if u have a itunes account can u put song from your itunes to ur enV touch? and put sone as ur ringtones as well?

You can copy file to sounds which you can use the sound file as a ring tone. I would recommend the external memory card as it will hold a lot more. I have 2gb and I have a few cocnert videos I took with it and quite a few pics plus the 200 plus songs. So to answer your question in around about way yes but it is easier to move from music file to music file on your phone external memory card.

Good video. I'm getting my Env Touch in a few days. I ordered it off of ebay. I hope it doesn't do all this weird stuff where it turns different colors on the screen. or it shuts off randomly. Does that happen to you at all?

I'm thinking droid too just not yet lol, I'm on my 5th replacementand it still acts up, just lst week my sound went out. My screen still changes colors and as far as resetting,mine aint doing that just yet it's just turning on and off lol. I like this phone and i don't like it lol

@perro633282 Yes it is as it was recorded that way. The newer ones should be correct. Sorry and you are correct with the button placement.
