  • Wish I had been at this concert last year.

  • While none of the Original Coasters were there (Hendricks was a Coaster at one time) they all were talented and respected the music. That was all that was needed to have an enjoyable night.

  • As I sit here with Bobby Hendricks' bio in my hand and reading it, I assure you that Bobby was NEVER in the Coasters. I just video taped his latest concert in the Villages of Lady Lake on July 19th. I would like to add that his voice is still crystal and he gave a great performance.

  • You may be right. Before the show we caught him in the lobby and were talking about some 50's groups from Baltimore (Ravens & Orioles) and I had said I might have seen him at some show at that time since he did play Baltimore.

He is the one who said he had been a menber for a time when one of the originals left.

Now that could have been a white lie and all that mattered was he and the others put on a great show that night.

  • There are spots on the web where they allow storage of big files. Off hand I don't know where they are out but if you do a little googling you should find them. Some are free Some are pay sitesoib

  • @billpayer2 I sing with Bobby Hendricks from time to time. He was never a Coaster.

  • This is a real treat! My ex-husband Russell Henry, still great friends and do miss his voice

  • I went to quite a few R&R events during the 50's when Rock was young and clapping hands was the thing to do since Johnny Law usually wouldn't let you dance in the aisles despite what you might have seen in some movies. I saw the Clyde McPhatter and the Drifters at the Coliseumn in Baltimore when they were on tour along with Buddy Holly & The Crickets ,Chuck Berry, Paul Anka, Everly Brothers and Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers.

  • Can you find me an older verison of them when they were younger if possible?
