@dedder15 yer again we are actually getting attacked at home so we need to show a presence in the middle east. theres a reason we are training the ANA and ANP. we arent trying to change their culture. we are trying to stop it from becoming anti west. because then we are truly screwed.

@dedder15 first off we are fighting the taliban in afghanistan. we do not make any money from afghanistan as it is a naturally poor country. we are there to keep a presence in the middle east. I wouldn't argue that we went to iraq just for oil because we probably did. but we were not fighting al qaeda in the beginning. they moved in after the iraqi army surrendered.
