where was everyone this year 2010. It was small and mostly white people. very sad turn out. and they went all out for the parade with a very small voice against it!

Columbus did a LOT more then accidently sail to Haiti.
And he WAS a great navigator, he had the right idea... Nobody knew North America existed and if it didn't where would he have landed? India! Ding ding ding

That's it! I'm making a land claim to Ireland... Hey I'm a "native" to Ireland so why the hell shouldn't I be aloud to get some free land?
Man takes land from other men, it's called reality. You can't bitch and moan about it 200 years later after you got pwned in the constant struggle for more land.

One day, the Aztecs held a great party in their capital Tencochtitlan to welcome the unknown Spainiards. They sacrificed 20,000 slaves to Huitzilopochtli (Naui's 10x great-grandfather) in one day, all without a conveyor belt or even a wheel! Huitzilopochtli was greatly pleased at the sight of the 20,000 freshly beating hearts, and let the sun rise again.
The Spaniards, however, became upset for some reason and kidnapped Montezuma.
Those racist party crashing bastards.

The part of the culture that I miss is the ripping out of the hearts and the trail of bodies down the side of the pyramid. That must have been spectacular. They said there was a river of blood completely down the steps of a 250 foot pyramid - hundreds of gallons. Better that the Superbowl by a long shot. Best of all, the war never ended, because you always need a thousand more sacrifices for next weekend. War was fun in those days, because you always struck to wound. Damn white devils.
See I never got why Americans celebrate Columbus day... I mean yeah someone found a new continent, but it also meant that a beautiful culture was destroyed..not worth celebrating .. rather be ashamed...

The real question is why he is considered a great navigator? Everyone knows he was looking for a new trade route to the East Indies(India), what he found was the island now known as Haiti and the Dominican Republic......a very very far way off from India...great navigator my ass.
