I love Ron Paul because he stands by what he says. I can expect him to do as he says when elected. Everyone else is just hot air and flip flops. Candy for your ears and then they do as their masters tell them. Ron Paul has no master. Follow his record.

@diggingforgold - Your statement is very honest and interesting and attempts to get at the problem. However, why penalize the innocent. Why not change the welfare state. I guess what I am saying is two wrongs don't make a right. I have heard other solutions like kick all non-native Americans out of these lands. Both are just solutions with the status quo. I think we have to right the wrongs instead. Better border protection would go along way & get rid of the fascist fiat state.

The problem of anchor-babies is why he's against it. Babies are intentionally born in US hospitals to illegals and automatically become citizens, and then their parents are allowed to stay- anchored to that citizen. No other wealthy western nation automatically gives citizenship simply because they were born here. The 14th amendment happened at a time when there was no welfare state and when immigration wasn't a burden. Now it is a problem, and it should be addressed.

Ron Paul said no birth right citizenship. If not by birth then Obama is a citizen because he would be a citizen of his mother or father's nation. I don't think this is right. I think if you are born there, you are a citizen. Otherwise, America is for only certain kinds of people and this would be dictated by those in power.
