Before there were bilingual education, non-English speakers were placed into special education classes. It was decided to start a bilingual education program to properly address the needs of English language learners. But a lot of these kids are not successfully transitioning to mainstream programs. Was the creation of these programs a wise move?

  • the USA needs a bilingual President!!!!!!!!

  • if we teach children in spanish when will they learn english. as a child of immigrants i no how hard it can be and understand their point of view. but if a child lacks basic english skills how can they ever develop and ever adjust to being in america.
