Getting a good rhythm with the English is hard. I'm still not at all happy with my own but sometimes it clicks better than others. I'll try the knee...

Good stuff. Nice sounding machine. I was wondering if you deliberately bounce the concertina on your tapping knee to get an effect or not? I would tend to use right hand for stoking and right knee for tapping so the concertina is on the left knee.

Yes it was deliberately. But I a finding it a little over the top now. So these days I am tapping with my toes and much less with my heel (which gives the bouncing effect).
