Last workout in the University of Virginia until next summer. Was pretty exhausted from all my exams, but I wanted to hit some sort of personal record. I decided to choose the high rep back squat as my goal.

I probably won't be doing these again for a long time, high rep squats are painful. I'd rather squat heavy and stick to powerlifting!

  • Why do you squat so slow?

I thought you were trying to get your deadlifts up

  • @pieman12345678900 I try to do all my lifts in a controlled manner as much as I can for fear of injury. I don't do high speed squats.

  • "Ooo, high rep squats are painful, oooh I'm a girlie man! I want to do what's easy and fun!"

  • @CleverDjembe Sounds about right rofl :p

  • I like your videos, this is one of my favs.

  • Why don't you just do squats alone? Squats work all your leg muscles. No need to do machine crap to isolate muscles.

  • strong 20-rep squats man

  • @YoCard I was always taught to lift as fast as possible to keep fast twitch muscle fibers/ gain more.

  • Looked pretty good actually, you still had decent speed on your last reps. I'd probably slow to a crawl.
