What the hell were those people thinking. I hate the comment, "she was lucky". How disgusting someone would say a 19 year old girl was lucky she wasn't shot for wearing a battery on her shirt.

We're not talking about you, we're talking about the airport staff and police completely freaking out, losing it and almost killing a US citizen for a perceived threat when there was no indication of any threat at all. The supposed "plastic explosives" she had with her was a hard-baked pink clay rose.

Wow if anyone ever seen C-4, that is exactly what it looks like. Please explain to me why she was caring Play Doo in her hand? There are four components to most bombs and she displayed all four. The point is she knew exactly what she was doing.

She wore what can only be described as suspicious. And she could have easily been charged with disturbing the peace.

I'm not going to walk into a bank with a ski mask on. I know what I'm doing with that type of clothing. I would not be surprised if I were to get tackled by someone or some other person freaking out next to me.

She could have worn that sweater any other day, but she chose to wear it to the airport, which is treated with more security than any bank.

She got what she deserved.

No they ended up giving her community service for being a 'disorderly person' because they couldn't make any real charges stick (because, obviously, she did nothing wrong.)

Just to point out a couple things here. This was handeled entirely by state police and local law enforcement. TSA was not involved as she had not reached any screening areas before being intercepted. Second the basic components of an IED, the power source, initiator, switch or timer and explosive. How many could you readly see, and would you like to search her for the rest yourself? It wasn't known to be playdough untill after the fact.
