Bigfoot's Apartment scenes were filmed at Dan and Michele Wilson's Apartment in Westland, because of its similarities to Peter Byrne's descriptions of an actual Bigfoot lair. The Bigfoot Hunter's (AKA The guys we knew from the Comic Book Store) used a combination of real guns and toy guns to simulate what it would be like to hunt a real bigfoot. They provided their own wardrobe, which happened to be what they were wearing that day. We couldn't have prepared a better wardrobe or costume for Bigfoot (Which was a combination of backwards halloween mask and Salem Cigarettes promotional baseball hat). Truly smoke and mirrors at its finest.
