What camera you suggest for IR attachments?
-
Hey Mike. I have one simple question. What you are saying in this video is that even though your camera can pick the flashing light up, it wouldn't work with a camera without a switch that you can turn it from reg. to Night vision? I'm using a Kodak Playsport Zx5 and if you go to google and search it in shopping, it comes up below the title that it says night vision... Thanks and please reply! :)

@screamfreak79 That certainly helped, I appreciate it very much.

how does this work outside, say, in a forest?

Who knew... ghosts react somehow to IR light? I thought that IR recording just made for granier, lower-quality video, thus producing more anomalies and pareidolia for "ghost hunters" to use as "evidence" for their vacuous claims.

@HoovedAvenger Yes it does lower the resolution. This is the only way to see in the dark without natural lighting. We dont use IR as much as we used too. We use it on the DVR for obvious reasons and we shoot with flashlights and video light on our hand helds.

I have a question, I'm soon purchasing an HD sony camcorder. Will it pick up infrared lighting although it doesn't have it's own built in? I don't understand how it couldn't.

@JonathanMichaelSpain If it doesn't say night shot it wont use Ir to illuminate. All night shots have a built in IR. Most of the newer models do not have night shot.

Awesome!Thank you for the review...Im working toward filming a "Ghosthunters" spoof, and I needed a nightvision light...you have convinced me to go ahead and buy it, and now all I have to do,is find a dark and spooky house to film in!
