Maastricht Holland by Runnrecords Studio Dutch..:. Redemption is een formatie die bestaat uit 6 personen : Hill, Jah Prince, Tiv, Muri, Showly en Houston . Muzikaal gezien is Redemption een formatie met vele gezichten. Zo komen een aantal leden van Redemption voort uit de bekende "Dutch Rhythm Steel & Showband" die een top 5 hit had met het nummer "Januari, Februari, Maart, April...". Redemption heeft in een relatief korte periode naam gemaakt. Zo heeft de groep al op verschillende kleine en grote podia gestaan in Nederland (waaronder het Kwakoe Festival in Amsterdam), België, Italië, Afrika en Suriname . op 27 Februari 1999 werd hun debuut CD single "Angela" uitgebracht. vervolgens hun tweede CD single "Amsterdam" uitgebracht op 28 juni 1999. Beide nummers zijn eveneens te vinden op hun debuut album " Wat Wil Je Van Me " (Fa Waka op zijn Surinaams)
Op hun debuut CD presenteert Redemption voornamelijk Nederlandstalige Pop Reggae, een verrassende mix van Reggae, Rock, R&B, Kaseko. p&c . Runnetherlands Producers G.J.G.Delvoux H.J.H.Hensels . REDEMPTION is going to take the Dutch market by storm with their 11 track album "Fa Waka. Wat Wil Je Van Me ?". Mainly song in Dutch this CD contains such fine tracks as "Ik Ben Verliefd (Mi Lobi Ju)", "Zinloos Geweld", "Angela" and "Amsterdam". A well varied new release, one that will make you wanna rock 'n' groove!

English... The six-piece band Redemption comprises Hill, Jah Prince, Tiv, Muri, Showly and Houston. Musically Redemption is a band with many faces. Some of the band members were part of the renown "Dutch Rhythm Steel & Showband", which scored a huge hit entitled "Januari, Februari, Maart, April..." In a relatively short period of time Redemption managed to establish its name and has already performed on small and big stages in The Nederlands, Belgium, Italy, Africa and Surinam. the release of their debut CD-single "Angela" on the 27th February 1999. IRUNN Records furthermore issued their second CD single "Amsterdam" on the 28th June, 1999. Both singles are featured on their debut CD "Wat Wil Je Van Me" (Fa Waka in the Surinam tongue).
On this well varied debut set Redemption mainly delivers Dutch Pop Reggae, a surprising mix of Reggae, Rock, R&B and Kaseko.
