Pablo de Sarasate: Zigeunerweisen by Ökrös Attila

This piece was recorded in 2006 at the Studio of the Hungarian Radio, for the final round of the "Concertino Praga" international music competition.


Attila Okros was born in Budapest. He began to play the violin at the age of 6. At the age of 11 he was admitted to the Franz Liszt University of Music, and joined the class of Natasa Sós. He attended mastercourses with Zakhar Bron.
In 2003 he won the third prize at the Zathureczky violin competition in Hungary.In 2004 he won special prize at the Georg Philipp Telemann violin competition in Poznan.In 2007 he was finalist at the "Concertino Praga" competition.
