  • only non-paleo crops require machinery harvesting grinding extraction and cooking to be eaten. we can feed ourselves from our back yards.Grains are criminal and stinking up the planet and are not sustainable.i look forward to the day they are outlawed.

  • omg, 10 grams a day no wonder i add a gram of salt to my daily diet. one gram added is all i get above background exposure. oh wait, i do eat ham, i will skip adding salt on those days. i sweat profusely with hard work, i must need some salt right? dont you need to replace electrolytes lost in sweat

  • Cattlefarming and factoryfarming comes forth from meat eating so it comes forth from free range hunting.

  • Well you are not using dairy-products . . . thatt's a start, i came on an bit strong on you people because i thought you were raw meat eaters. and i thinks that disgusting and dangerous i think.

  • @Ineke210000 We are an animal, and animals eat other animals. Maybe you should have said animals are not there to be eaten by humans, but then our evolutionary past says different. All the problems you mention are not caused by eating meat per se, they are caused by industrial farming. Most of those problems are solved by eating free range grass fed meat and wild game/fish. We evolved as hunters/gatherers not as agriculturalists. Grain has no place in our diet.

  • Right, but we are no apes we are people, we have evolved (hopefully) meaning to become more civilised, and therefore try to become less cruel.

  • @Ineke210000 ..............it is a very flawed study and even a layman can poke holes in it's claims. Many vegans hacks have cited the LHP as being proof that humans should be vegan. It does not take into account free range meat and wild game as part of a human diet. MUCH of it is speculative and lacks proper peer review. The China Study as well is incredibly flawed and has been ripped apart by Dr Cordain for it's many inconsistencies and failure to control important variables.

  • @Ineke210000 Baloney. Human/human relatives have been hunting for the better part of 5 million years. Chimps have been observed using spears to hunt small animals and are known to eat meat. Apes even get a % of their protein from insects (animal protein) either by intentionally eating them or by eating insects that are on the plants they eat. And the Least Harm principle does NOT support what you claim it does, as it does not take all aspects of the argument into consideration........

  • evreything is connected, there's forced breeding going on in the cattelfarming, therefore the same happens to the people, people have as such not evolved on eating meat, agrassion, greed, hate and such have, people ( when we were stil apes) overal eat vegetable, (apes may still be omnivores) in believe peopel are supposed to be vegans. it's all in the least harm principle, people should know better. we wil evolve when we go from meat eater to vegetable eaters. try it and you will see.

  • @Ineke210000 Health in general is, but here we talk about health of individuals and fact is that meat is essential in the diet since we evolved on it.

If only we in the west wouldnt throw away about half of our food we could feed the world too. And not forget overfeeding of humans.

Industry is accountable for 37% of CO2 wich is because of its size more interesting. What else we can do is promote birth control over the entire world so the population would stabelise and even shrink a bit.
