Hi again... yeah the crash symbol yr hearing on the video clip i did was assigned to the lowest C on the lower manual .its on one of the presets on the theare organ in a box.. its prob the closest i`ll ever get to the real thing. ! cheers
Hi Tony. It was a fantastic day. I played a lot of dance tunes but I also explored the more sensitve side of the Tower Wurlitzer with a Phantom number."All I Ask Of You" which David Lobban realy enjoyed. May I ask how did you get the crash Symble to work of a seprate button on your Yamaha?
it must be a fantastic experience sat there a the console spectraman ... i have sat and played the ex ritz ballroom wurlitzer which is now about a minutes walk from me in saltaire.. like you say it looks so easy when yr watching but a different ball game when your sat there.. and definatley nothing like playing electronic organ thats for sure !! hope you ejoyed yr time on there..imsure you will have done
Phil Kelsall has graced the bench of the worlds finest Wurlitzer now for over 30 years. I have met him a number of times. He alaways remember's me. I was invited to play the Tower Wurlitzer last October and i re created some of the sounds in this video. It looks so easy when you watch him play untill you try it. I thankfully diddnt make a fool of myself in the company of my mate David Lobban.
