Doowopper, you have found about a zillion songs from youth that I thought were gone forever, not to mention a bunch (like this) that I had no clue about. Just wanted to thank you for all your hard work and sharing the soundtrack of our long-ago youth.

It is quite funny to hear the young Paul Simon.
But I still like it.
Dont know... but I cant dislike anything Paul Simon ever performed or wrote.

@thebigfist Could you confirm that as I know Paul worked with many singers in his Jerry Landis phase,. The given technology was limited to only 4 different tracks. Not 128 like today, lol.

It was definitely Paul doing is own backround with the overdub.

Clean and beautiful to watch - wish my computer speakers could do it justice. It needs an AM radio:>

I been hearing about the Paul Simon early solo stuff for years now and finally I'm hearing this jerry landis stuff which was part of the late 50's early sixties doo-wop craze and he was very amazing of what he could do doing hese tunes.
Who was backing him. I know it wasn't tico and the triumphs?

Acording to the liner notes in the CD "Paul Simon aka Jerry Landis" Vol.1 it could be himself overdubbing the lead with background vocals.
