He's absolutly right. I came from a hood where we knew our neighbors and whenever he had a BBQ our whole street was invited. Playing music, just having a good time. Now you go back, you'll see mid 30s white couple just keeping to themselves. And when they want "culture" they visit or plan a [insert culture here] festival in their neighborhood. Because you just can't have black, indian, west indian just mingling about. that'd confuse the sh!t out of them. "You mean indians eat Roti too?" LOL!!

your only seeing it one way , if crime wants to get lower , then thats up to the mayor and the police, not people , gentirifcation ruins culture, and gentrification isnt 100 percent gonna be a good deal , because alot of rich people would think twice of moving into them in these certain areas , guliani took control of nyc b4 gentrification got this bad and look how crime fell down in nyc hard , so that line your using is bs
