  • Bowie's version has more of a mantra quality, how it carries on at the end, that gives it more weight. both versions are fun to listen to, but bowie gets the meaning across.

  • i think i like his version better than mott the hoople :/

  • IBlueFellow sent me here :)

  • @thekillers1stfan And this is why it's such a damn awesome song. Thanks man!

  • @Jormungandor Mott did it first but Bowie wrote it for them

  • I can never remember, who did it first? Bowie or Mott The Hoople? Both are incredible.

  • Hardcore Bowie fan! I saw him in the diamond Dogs tour in L.A. in 1974.

  • Do you eat fleas and swive in trees?

  • Ian Hunter with Mick Ronson on the Live 'Welcome to the Club' - best version. Hunter undeniably the most under appreciated talent out there. His first four, and last three albums are his best.

  • This is great, love those saxophones! It sounds like a very modern version - could it be a Toy out-take?

  • still the sexiest man alive... love you .xxxxxxxxxxx
