Thank you so much. I'm not familiar with Marie de France and "le Laüstic" but I have just looked it up and it's a fascinating story. I understand Laüstic is a word from Bretagne. Last summer I spent two weeks in Bretagne near Le Faouët and I was fascinatet by the breton language and the beauty of this part of France.
