pare u built this by yourself? this is nice. i am just curious.. does this consume a lot of electricity?

pardon the late reply. it's been a while since i last logged in.
i built this with the help of one worker. it consumes about 500 pesos a month worth of electricity now that i've included a sonic p 65 air pump. it's much more aerated now :)

you should have perceive about rotting wood planks...in a months time those nails/screws will rust and the wood planks will rot, especially those used in your bakki shower which are moist all the time.

of course i have! it's a no-brainer, really.
due to budget constraints at the time of construction, i made use of these used wooden planks.
now, i have a stainless steel bakki ready. will have to give time for it for installation. very busy with my businesses right now.

don't you think you ought to inform your viewers that those woods are just for TEMPORARY purpose.some NEWBIES my try your DIY Filter only to be disappointed with rotting woods...

at the end of the day, you CANNOT decide for others as to what they want. aesthetically, some may prefer wood over other materials as it is WHAT THEY WANT. if they can afford to buy wood all the time, all the better.
i can afford to change them every year. i even have all weather wood if these filter covers already rot.
and oh, i still maintain zero ammonia every two days that i check. GH and KH levels are also stable.
