Maureen O'Hara was not the woman for Tyrone. She is a John Wayne leading lady. She has not the class for Tyrone Power.

I just read the Black Swan and this has nothing to do with that book. At least in Captain Blood they stuck to the story. I'll toast to lovely Maureen, but Powers is
not real Rogue enough for me...he seems like he's trying to hard.On the other
hand Flynn is Peter Blood. They should do a remake of this movie like the book.
The dialogue and chemistry in the book is more to paRR.

Goes to show you what a great actress Maureen O'Hara was: I really believed she found him repulsive! That must have taken some acting, all the ladies loved Tyrone Power.
