Using the MSA Remote application for the iPhone the multi-touch input of the device can be converted to TUIO and sent across a network. In this video the TUIO protocol is sent across a wireless network to a computer running the Ubuntu 9.10 netbook edition. The output is through a large LCD screen so it can actually be seen on camera. Based on comments on my blog I've updated the google code for the compiz plugin as it was causing problems on recent compiz versions. It should all work fine now.
