@AleaTsukurite wow, that's a really good description o-o
-
@javierenchina fuck it, I'm bringing it back, to the future.
-
Why do you have to hold the index finger to the thumb next to the pitch antenna?
What would happen if you went wild and let that index finger fly free? LoL
-
Is this a little bearing on her finger? Bea-ring, lol
-
Sounds like a cross between someone humming and a violin. Great sound.
-
Looks like a possible display from the 50"s about things of the future.

@javierenchina It's crazy to think that it wasn't intended to be a musical instrument.

Theremin was working on a device to measure the density of gasses under pressure in 1918 when he noticed that the proximity of his body affected the apparatus in such a way that he could produce a varying pitch tone. Edwin Armstrong received his patent on wideband FM in 1933, which was substantially later than the emergence of the theremin. However, Armstrong's earlier invention of 1914, the "Armstrong oscillator," was used by Theremin in his designs. (U.S. Patent 1113149)
