In the US release, they took out the background music (based on Vangelis's famous theme, "Chariots Of Fire") from the part where she's running/training by the beach D:

I just rewatched this series like five minutes ago.

I never noticed they just stopped using the theme at the halfway point, but I think it helped with the atmosphere of the second half.
