  • v 6 ???

  • @MrAh102 I-6 flat six, opposed like Subaru or Porsche

  • @4spdBernie Doesn't I-6 stand for "Inline Six"? The engine is a Boxer 6.

  • @schlusselmensch Yes, boxer it is; or flat; I-6 it's not.

  • 48 known left to exist...I will also add that that video, there is no way that is the original mileage...BS call...that speedo has a 100K in front of the so called original 9,900 miles...there is just so much rust that even if it sat for so long would not show those kind of signs of deteriation...that is Eastern road rust...just look at that bumper....and if you tear that moor down I can even say is has over 100K on the cylinder wear.

  • @rancheroman1961 It was in pretty sad condition - Gooding & Co Jan 2011 this Tucker is listed as sold @ $797,000.00

  • @4spdBernie I prefer "Boxer" as it describes exactly the disposition of the cylinders. I can think of a few flat engines that were not opposed. I think though that the aviation engine prefix work the best. The engine would then be an "O-6".

  • @iamfirst2dive I believe that the engines were manufactured by Aircooled Motors Ltd.. The company was owned by the Tucker family and it also produced Franklin aircraft, helicopter, and GPU engines.

  • Was this car restored ?

  • I love Tuckers to death but you know when I look and that closely dude like that design of the dash is like whatever and what is up with the extra frame in the rear over along side the egnine dude.

He had a awsome diea the body is beautiful the enfine is way cool along with the suspesion and third light rocks but I tuely think he ran out of time to desing like dash and structure appearance and quality.

  • This is the Tucker that sold 01-21-12 at the Barrett- Jackson Auto Auction at Scottsdale Az. for $2.650.000.00.. Now talk about a deal

  • A Tucker came to Brazil, is now in poor condition.
