@MuckFe55555 I'd say if it's a close sub that almost finishes the guy it's worth something, but if it's just like throwing up triangles and going for armbars and not getting anything, that's not equal to a takedown.
@theguybelowmefarted The transition is tough, to say the top guy has the advantage is wrong, but i would say he has the advantage of the judges favoring him, an example would be wiman vs danzig, 2nd round i think, wiman got a deep armbar, and won that round even though danzig took him down, another ex, would be forest vs jackson, forest throwin up a lot of subs attempts and won the fight. Anything tires you out, beating the shit outta someone tires u out. When i say real BJJ, i met them in MMA.
@MuckFe55555 Nothing but a fake? I'm talking about legit black belt instructors that have been training for over a decade here. In BJJ I would say guard is a neutral or even a dominant position, but in MMA the guy on top has the advantage. Plus the takedowns > Failed sub attempts. The only thing failed sub attempts are gonna do is tire you out.
@theguybelowmefarted that was simply sanchez being the better grappler at that time. yea u can get punched and elbowed on your back but if your good enough you wont be able to, like clay and pettis, pettis controlled him off his back, but unfortunately was not able to do much on his back, but he barely got hit at all on his back. btw, there black are belts, and there are black belts - Royce Gracie. Understand it, then you realize the "black belts agree with me" is nothing but a fake
@MuckFe55555 Lol nice try buddy but this is MMA not BJJ. You stay on your back and you get punched and elbowed. Even black belts agree with me. Diego Sanchez beat up Nick Diaz when Diaz fought the whole fight on his back.
@theguybelowmefarted when a bjj controls u, u wont be able to throw any SIGNIFICANT strikes, just like olva and russow fight. give me a real argument boy
@theguybelowmefarted yea definitely agree, takedown over very crappy subs.

@MuckFe55555 Wait a minute, I didn't know this was a BJJ match. That explains everything! He obviously couldn't punch or elbow him in the face!
