The Ford GT does not beat the Viper. Both are very cool cars and would be great to own but the viper has it in a race.

Sevenernine hit the nail on the head. Also they are all cool cars and you should drive what you enjoy. There is always some that has a faster car than yours :)

personally this is a pretty close competition, but the magnum is just a little bit better and faster. my dad has a magnum, and its pretty sweet.

My stock 91 mustang coupe ran a 9.0 at 80mph in the 1/8th. With 2.73 rear end gears. On bald 225 street tires.
Stock gt500s run low 8s on street tires.
