  • In spit of the restraint from the music direcotr, this really is an excellent perfomance.

I think alot of the cristism coming from tisafir may have to do with whatching the director. He's not giving alot of physical movement, but there's a lot of expression in his eyes, and he certainly knows the score inside out. From a technical point of view, the choir is excellent, tempo is certainly very fast, but quite together. A very high level perfomance indeed!

  • good, but the sopranos have pitching issues

  • My favorite part is between 2:40 and 2:45 when the voices decrescendo into what reminds me of a music box with the plucked strings and the xylophone right before the big ending. Nice job.

  • I'm so glad you can hear the Harp in this production! The Harp has such a great part in this work!

  • The conductor is a JOY to watch. Smile on his face...how inspiring for such an energetic movement!

  • empty seats in the theatre??

  • I wish I could hear the men better! Love this song :)

  • Conducting-wise, he's textbook; move the arms to aid the musicians in rhythm, then cue with simple points and eye contact. Well done.

  • Really enjoyed this performance. Wish there was footage of the choir, but Jin Kim is a joy to watch. Found myself leaning in and responding to the direction as if I were there, singing.

  • When I compare this tempo to Bernstein himself conducting the Israel recording the tempos are virtually the same. Maybe this conductor is taking his tempo from the composer.

  • this conductor is perfect

  • these guys do it too fast
