  • Hate on Mel Brooks is like hating yourself.

  • It is always good to hear polish language, especially when it is said by foreigners. I was suprised, when I see how well they can speak in my language. Of course you can hear that it was said by American, but yet you can understand it.

Trzymam kciuki aby powstało więcej filmów o Polsce, bardziej pokazującą naszą kulturę i historię.

  • I just LOVE the way they speak polish.

  • Don't know how many people know this - but Mel Brooks was in the US Army during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

Look up this battle - anyone who fought in this saw some very heavy fighting. It was a last desperate try by Hitler to keep the Allies from advancing on Germany.

Mel Brooks - great comedian. Love his movies.

Also, Mel *was* married to Anne Bancroft in real life.

  • Also in this color musical remake of"To Be Or Not To Be"..is Henry(Kleinbach)Brandon..Henry played a Gestopo agent..he

also had to teach Mr.Durning how to speak German.

  • Thank you for downloading this. I love Anne Bancroft, and when she spoke Polish! Wonderful.

  • This is the first time that I realized that "Sweet Georgia Brown" had lyrics, and it figures that I learned them in Polish!

Please don't blame me for not knowing that... The only time I knew the song was when the Harlem Globetrotters were around, and that was instrumental music! For what it is worth, this was LONG before the internet was widely available, so I could not google the song lyrics.

  • @kathberry8 Even a comedy has to be believable.

  • @WillScarlet16 ...um, I think it's supposed to be incongruous,not serious....
