Obama has just de-cantralized the us economy. a truely American distributive economy will emerge. you will begin to see it within 5-10 years as all regulation effects take that long to cycle through the economy

The lower labor and regulatory costs in cheaper countires is in oart offset by higher transportaion costs.

There is more of a financial incentive to outsource for the tax benefits than the labor. removing the tax benefit forces them to make the outsourcing choice based on labor-vs-transportation. It is always cheaper to make things close to the supply chain and consumption. payrollmay be a significant portion of expense but separate executive pay from production and there isn't much difference
