  • Yes, in fact, they are slightly toxic, but it is usually blown out of proportion. You wouldn't want to make a salad out of them or anything but I read that it would take like 500 bracts to be lethal.

  • I was surprised to hear that some people have Poinsettia Phoebia because they believe they are toxic. According to the research, this seems to be a myth. Anyone have more info on this?

  • These plants are so amazing; I actually used to live in Honolulu and these plants grew abundantly along the Pali Highway...I had the good fortune to visit Rocket Farms about a month ago, and seeing these plants massed by the hundreds of thousands is a true feast of the visual senses...

  • I didn't know that poinsettias grew to be 6 feet tall. I'm going to try to do this out in my yard. Thanks
