In 1992, the Northern Alliance liberated Afghanistan from the Soviets. The established the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan - which was moving towards democracy. Then, the Taliban took it from the Northern Alliance in 1996, and held it until 2001.

Then, we have 9/11. This provoked the US and NATO to invade Afghanistan and topple the Taliban in power. While the Taliban did not attack America, they harbored bin Laden and the al Qaeda (who DID attack America) - guilty by association.

With tremendous air support from the US and NATO, the Northern Alliance took back most of Afghanistan before the end of 2001. I have omitted photos of the Northern Alliance liberating Kabul (the capital) because including them would make it seem like the War on Terrorist groups has been won, which it has not.

"Terrorist" and "freedom fighters" are just political terms. Just look at the rebel militias that the US funds all around the world. For example, the US and Nato supported the Libyan rebels. NATO even armed some of the rebels, and the Libyan rebels were called freedom fighters because they rebelled against Qaddafi whom NATO/US hated. However, when Palestinians or another group rebels agaisnt a US backed government, they become terrorists. They do the same with the Taliban and Northern Alliance.

The Northern Alliance are a bunch of druglords who were put into place by the Coaltion. The only reason the USA like the Northern Alliance is because the NA is on their side. This shows that America's foreign policy isnt interested in justice, it's just interested in manuplating conflicts for their own benefit.The politicians here in the US routinely fund shitty groups like the NA and call them "freedom fighters", while those groups who do not fit into the US agenda are "terrorists"

The Northern Alliance have commited the most horrific atrocities in Afghanistan's entire history, they are nothing but uneducated, foreign ass kissing have lives, Dr. Abdullah being one of them, what attrocities did they not commit during their four years of power? The once beautiful capital of Kabul was completely demolished, it appeared like the stone ages, NOT all, but most of the Northerners are sly thieves, not an opinion it's a fact!
