Chicken Dance Polka

Being from rural Minnesota, polka music is something that I've heard on many occasions, and the wedding chicken dance is one of them. I remember when I was six years old, learning how to do the dance from my grandmother at my cousin's wedding.
My grandpa also "gave" me a beer, but I didn't like the taste so he slammed it down like a boss and sent me on my way.

OMG how did I get here..

The last time I did this was a few years ago at my cousin joff's wedding. His mother on the other hand specifically said to those in charge of the music NOT to do this song. I think that was crazy for her to say that. It always adds to the fun of the wedding reception.

@cindylou8 I've been at parties with this dance, but have avoided actually dancing it due to my fear of embarrassment.

@doberdamned The original song is from Switzerland. I don't know about this dance though!
I think this tune still fills the dance floor at weddings (not toffs weddings, but regular folks) here in UK. We pretend to hate it, but of course secretly we love it. A few beers helps though :o) Piggy wiggy winklers.
