  • i lived this stuff and this movie was like a high speed rocket to the past. i did not under any circumstances think the 70's sucked. it seems looking back that the tension just wasn't as heavy then in nearly every facet of life. political correctness and the cult of victimology has made everybody so anal now. the movie pcu was on the money.

  • Why can't we live in such time again. I am a teenager now and holy shit it sucks. Not that being a teenager sucks, just the times do. In my school nobody is chilled out everyone is constantly on needles about grades and college and shit, and the adults don't help by constantly reminding us how the job market is so rigid now and that you basically have to get a degree in order to have a life. My generation is missing out on this years by worrying about everything so much, its sad really :( .

  • @darkseer100 blockbuster? if theres still any fucking open..fuck netflix shit

  • i was born in the wrong era:/

  • where i can watch this movie??i cant find it:S

  • @BlackTeddies

i would have to agree. im a teenager now, but it seems as if after 9.11 happened, everyone is very serious all the time. we have to be on top of the world it seems with no time to enjoy life. any attempt at having fun is destroyed by parents who are paranoid about their kids because they are afraid something is going to happen to them or cops. i dont think its the kids, if people became relaxed then the times would be the same. but sadly, the world is a different place

  • @tiedyebusguy yeah, it is absolutely amazing how accurate this movie was.......the whole feel of it. It was a time when teenagers were everywhere (left over from the ww2 baby boom). Everywhere you went on the weekend was just jammed with teens,,,,cars cruising around with like 5 people in each car, music blasting out every car window (8-track tape players probably)...local playgrounds and parks at night were loaded with suburban kids getting high or drinking

  • @connor2112232 yeah, there were drugs a plenty back then but it wasn't like now......it was mostley pot, hash and LSD.....none of these dangerous designer drugs like crack, crank, XTC and coke etc.

  • @rachelbalkwill yeah, the 70s (after the vietnam war and the military draft ended) was a good time to be a teen. The 60s was just total turmoil with the war going on and on
