  • LED bulbs > Fluoresent bulbs > Incandescent bulbs

LED bulbs use far less energy then fluoresent bulbs, dont have any mercury, are shatter/vibation resistant, and have INSANE bulb life.

Most LED bulbs can last over 60,000 hours. Thats a little over 6.8 freaking years!

  • LEDs are great but still new. They don't have a great lumen/watt ratio as CFLs.

  • plus, CFL's are much more expensive, contain mercury, lower quality (pinkish) light, 15% LESS LIGHT, and are not dimable

  • this is wrong. in theory, they should last 4 times longer at most. in reality, cfl's burn out prematurely due to overheating. i know of some of the first (Edison) lights that are still on since they were installed in the early 1800's! now that's long!

  • @noreaga12326 eco killer prick, cfls are the best plain and simple, superior light, low energy, and affordable. And no its not worth my time to locate where you live and call the police on you. Eventually you will be caught though. Your way of life and you old fashioned ways are a thing of the past and will be outlawed .

  • @stickedU ur an eco friendly cunt... most cfls burn out quickly, and take a while to come to its full brightness. im surprised u havent called the light bulb police on me yet. i got 900 boxes of incandecents buddy

  • '

i like a light bulb because of easily to use a dimmer control than twister bulb

  • HG kills

  • CFLs last very long, I have had most of mine for 4years now. No bad ones yet. You are the brainwashed one. Fox news tells you what to think you believe it. You are the monkey with the old technology fool.

  • @stickedU wrong again, Halogen bulbs are not only efficient enough to stay in the market but THEY DO last a long time. I have also heard of many ppl complaining that cfls and leds do not last as long as ppl claim they do. face facts, ur brain washed. not matter what u say, i'm sticking with my edisons. please keep the posts coming. I'm enjoying making a monkey out of u

  • @noreaga12326 incandescent bulbs will never be as efficient as CFLs plain and simple. Halogens arent as efficient nor do they have the long life that CFLs have so they are inferior. The only light that is more efficient is the LED.

  • @stickedU do u know why they're TRYING to improve the quality of cfls?? Cuz they know that MOST ppl hate cfls and prefer edison bulbs. if u can seriously tell me that cfls have the same exact color as incandescents, then ur eyes need serious checking. incandescents with more energy effiency are already on the market. And even IF they were to ban ALL incandescents, it would be useless cuz instead of in stores, edisons will end up in ppls homes. Cuz MOST ppl are stocking up.looks like u lose again
