Roger came to my hometown of Bozeman, Montana in the winter of '89- I was 16. He played at a little coffeehouse for a crowd of high school kids-maybe 20 of us. He blew me totally away and made me want to learn guitar and write songs and move to New York City and sing in the subways. Which I did. It took me a good decade to get there, but I did. Thank you, Roger Manning. You are a Real American Hero.
Roger rocks!

I loved seeing Roger play. That first album, especially, was truly magical.
