Who wants to be a supervillain audition

This is my audition for the show "Who wants to be a Super Villain" on Sci Fi channel.

I shot this on a sunny day in Gorham, Maine using a homemade green screen using a Panasonic PV-GS150 camcorder. I then imported the footage into Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 where I used the built in chroma key to replace the background with a still image I grabbed off google image search.

Things I learned:

1. The wind screen on my new $50 shotgun mic is only good until about 3-5mph winds.

2. The costume shouldn't have anything shiny on it. There are moments where the shoulders reflect the green screen and the background shows through.

3. While the still background looks ok, I would have done better to use a moving background.

4. I can talk about nothing for a half hour without being prompted.

5. Most people can't tell the background is fake unless you point it out to them.
