I do a different form of Karate where your first kata is Giki Sai Da Ichi but you only need it to get your orange and red belt

@livewirejim hmmm I study Isshin Ryu for over 35 years and ur form is good but it looks a little different than what Im use to. But very good for a begginer! Keep training in the Arts it will keep u young! Im 40 and my high school friends are all fat and messed up!

This is Jim the guy from the video, check out my page for more Karate and Music vids. This is Sei San Kata, it is the white belt kata for Isshin Ryu Karate that you learn to earn your yellow belt. I have made it as far as orange belt. My karate is horrible at the moment but I'm in the best shape of my life due to a combination of cycling, weights, frisbee golf, speed bag and a little karate too. Sensei Derrick Carwardine is my sensei he deserves the credit for getting me started

Is this shorin ryu karate ? Thats what I do. 1st kata: Kihon ippon 2nd kata: Kihon nippon 3rd kata: kihon sanban 4th kata: fuku di itch and so on and so on :D
