An interview with Ms Claire Chen, news anchorwoman for the daily mid-day news on Formosa TV. Claire graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1999 with a degree in Journalism and then spent eight years working for FTV while also pursuing a PhD degree! Claire was instrumental in pushing for bilingual (Taiwanese and Mandarin) news programming in Taiwan and is recognised as one of the most important figures in Taiwanese news broadcasting.
