  • Looked it up and found in my collection an excellent one too (1928) by the Nat Shilkret Orchestra, do you know that one?

  • I think this was written for the 1932 show,so the Shilkret one is likely to be a different tune with the same name.

  • I'm saying it was written for the show, like the great expert, but maybe it wasnt!I really ought to research things before up-loading songs!

  • @mic33george I'm pretty sure it was written in the 20's and performed on Broadway by the late, great Peggy Wood, a definite beauty in her day!

  • i say YES this is a great arrangement!!!!!********great voice and peppy arrangement great speech of the singer. love this post as all 1920's 30's records. ROGHARM

  • I have had tunnel vision due to my love of the Roy Fox Monseigneur version, but Sam has stolen my heart.

  • Lovely echoey recording, Ambrose has always been a favorite of mine, and now this one is!

  • The tune is different, yes, the lyrics the same.

  • Ambrose nearly "fatally" stands for an "awesome" rating and favouriting!
